Google has taken quick action to remove around 50 apps from the Android Market, which were found to have trojan-like capabilities.

Google has taken quick action to remove around 50 apps from the Android Market, which were found to have trojan-like capabilities.

The search giant was also able to remotely uninstall the offending apps from users' phones, and apparently the vulnerabilities targeted by the malicious code will not affect users of the recently updated Android version dubbed Gingerbread (Android 2.3.2).
