In a report from April this year, the Department of Education, who form part of the Skills Shortage Analysis Group, highlighted a conundrum:

As many as 49% of UK workers could be in the wrong job, based on their skill levels. Especially since so many graduates are in non-graduate jobs and workers do not utilise their full skill set.

The importance of workplace culture is in the spotlight too, especially with ever more AI and Digital Transformation coming into play. Money is no longer the main motivator to take on a job role.
