We're proud to share that Framework Training has been named a Finalist in not one but two categories at the British Training Awards 2026: L&D Provider of the Year (<20 employees) and SME of the Year.
As a small team we're delighted; it reflects something we've believed since we started in 2010: that expert, human-led training delivered by real practitioners makes a measurable difference to the teams who experience it. We work with L&D and Technology leaders across the private and public sector to build high-performing technical teams, covering Software Development, Data Science, AI and ML, DevOps, Agile and IT Security. Our instructors aren't just trainers; they're domain experts who bring genuine real-world experience into every session.
The British Training Awards, powered by New Possible, exists to find and celebrate the teams and individuals who are genuinely passionate about L&D's role in building a thriving workforce. This year was the most competitive yet - a record 423 entries were received from organisations across the UK, ranging from start-up pioneers to tech unicorns, global titans and not-for-profits. Being shortlisted twice, as a small team is something we're really proud of.

Tom Walker, Technical Director at Framework Training, said: "We've got our fingers firmly crossed - as ever we're in the running with some great small specialist companies and we're proud to make it to the finals. Good luck to everyone involved!"
The calibre of the judging panel made the shortlist all the more meaningful. Assessments were carried out by senior L&D leaders from some of the UK's most respected organisations, including Paul Buckland-White (Smith+Nephew), Shannon Drew (IRIS Software Group), Kate Large (Mitie), Keith McDougall (Bupa), Chris McLaughlin (Booking.com), Jenny Morgan (Royal London), Gemma Paterson (Lloyds Banking Group), Prachi Prasad (dunnhumby), Jodie Pritchard (Barnardo's), Dr Leanne Simpson (Smiths Detection), Thomas Stroppel (Dishoom), Karen Suddards (Bentley Motors), Michelle Tindale (UKAS), Danielle Ware (Busy Bees), and Liggy Webb, among others.
Nate Harwood, Founder of New Possible and the British Training Awards, said: "Investment in learning and development is non-negotiable for organisations to succeed in 2026. As we navigate a profound industrial shift, those equipping their people with new skills are actively building tomorrow's economy. The British Training Awards celebrate the visionary teams and individuals driving this transformation. Congratulations to all our Finalists."
The awards entry that helped earn our place on the shortlist centred on our work with Genie AI; a contract automation platform serving over 100,000 users across 120 jurisdictions. Their Growth team needed Python and Data Science skills to deliver thousands of new web pages across 22 new jurisdictions, working with a bespoke in-house codebase. We designed a four-day programme specifically around their code, involved the colleague who built it in the planning process, and tailored content in real time as the team's needs evolved. By the end, every learner was independently running the code on their own machines. The team went on to launch all 22 locales and created an internal "Anyone Can Code" initiative to spread those skills across the wider business.
Over the past year we've delivered similarly impactful programmes for CERN, the BBC, Companies House, Rolls Royce, the NHS, MRC Harwell and Sony. We'll find out whether we've won at the awards ceremony on Wednesday 15th July 2026, at the Grand Hall of the Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden, London. Watch this space.
