About the course
Our Blockchain overview will give technical managers, software architects, developers, and data analysts an intensive introduction to what Blockchain is, and how to go about formulating a cohesive plan to implement distributed ledger and smart contract technologies in real world projects.
What started with the open source Bitcoin platform has evolved to fill niches other than just Banking. Anywhere an auditable information trail is required - be it automotive manufacture, clinical trials, law... Blockchain Smart Contracts will allow for swifter, automated, legally binding transactions of all varieties, helping to eliminate fraud, counterfeiting, money laundering, and blind spots in supply chains.
Blockchain has given birth to partnerships such as the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, whose membership includes organisations such as Accenture, BP, Cisco, Credit Suisse, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Mastercard, Microsoft, Samsung, Toyota, UBS and hundreds more.
Online and in-house face-to-face options are available - as part of a wider customised training programme, or as a standalone workshop, on-site at your offices or at one of many flexible meeting spaces in the UK and around the World.
-
- Grasp Blockchain Fundamentals: Comprehend the core concepts, historical development, and key drivers of blockchain technology.
- Differentiate Blockchain Use Cases: Identify and contrast various blockchain applications, from public cryptocurrencies to enterprise and private network solutions.
- Understand Private Blockchain Networks: Articulate the architecture, benefits, and specific functionalities of private blockchain platforms like MultiChain.
- Deploy Blockchain Nodes in Cloud: Confidently deploy and manage private blockchain nodes and networks within cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Interact with Blockchain Data Programmatically: Query blockchain data and node information using programmatic interfaces such as JSON-RPC and public APIs.
- Understand Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS): Explain the concept of BaaS and its role in simplifying blockchain deployment and management.
- Comprehend Decentralised Application Principles: Understand the foundational principles of Decentralised Applications (DApps), including the role of smart contracts and tokens.
- Explore Blockchain Development Tools: Gain familiarity with key libraries and tools used for interacting with and developing on blockchain networks (e.g., web3j).
-
This course is aimed at Development Managers, Technical Managers, Software Developers and Architects, Data Analysts and Data Scientists, however, we are happy to adapt the delivery for professionals and teams in other roles and industries.
-
Some experience of software development / coding / scripting would be highly beneficial. Knowledge of the banking industry would be useful but is not mandatory.
-
This Blockchain overview is available for private / custom delivery for your team - as an in-house face-to-face workshop at your location of choice, or as online instructor-led training via MS Teams (or your own preferred platform).
Get in touch to find out how we can deliver tailored training which focuses on your project requirements and learning goals.
